Eligibility Criteria
A student is eligible to enroll in the course if they have successfully completed a program equivalent to 10+2 or pre-university studies in the commerce group.
Course Overview
The Department of Accounting & Finance was established in the year 2013 – 2014 in response to the growing demand in Commerce as a field of education. The total strength of students in B.Com. Accounting and Finance is around 700. To cater to the increasing demand for the B.Com. Accounting and Finance course second additional section was started in the year 2015 -16, and with the great urge for the course from the students, a third additional section was started in the year 2019 -20.
Program Outcomes
- To enhance the students to gain an in-depth knowledge of core subjects like accounting, law, statistics, & finance.
- To inculcate the students to have adequate knowledge of adapting to the changes in the flexible business world
- To enable the students to obtain a good understanding of how the financial aspects of a business need to be managed.
- To upgrade with high-quality young learners for corporate and efficiency in academic performance to match with an overall institutional objective.
