BTY NCC & 1 (TN) BN NCC in the year 2023 - 2024

First year enrollment

NCC cadet’s enrollment selection was conducted on 3rd August 2023.   A Total of 32 students were selected as new NCC cadets for enrollment

Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2023 to foster national pride, unity and deepen participants connection to their country’s history and values

International Yoga Day

NCC celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023 to encourage regular yoga practice and promote physical and mental well-being among participants

Khadi Mahotsav

NCC organized a Khadi Mahotsav on 26th October 2023 to foster appreciation for traditional crafts and promote the values of self-reliance and sustainability.

Deputy Director General of NCC Visit

Deputy Director General of NCC, Commodore Atul Kumar Rastogi visited on 1st December 2023 to reinforce the NCC values and motivate cadets to excel in their training and duties.

Celebration of International Year of Millets

The International Year of Millets Awareness Program was organized on 2nd December 2023 by NCC in College to raise awareness about the nutritional and environmental benefits of millets

B Certificate Examination

NCC ‘B’ certificate examination was conducted on 23rd & 24th March 2024 at Madras Medical College. A total of 30 second Year NCC cadets attended the practical and written examinations.

75th REPUBLIC DAY 2024

Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2024 to deepen students’ understanding of democratic values and the significance of the Constitution.

Influence and Impact of media and technology

NCC organized an awareness programme the influence and Impact of media and technology on 31st January 2024 to foster a deeper understanding of the impact of media and technology on daily life

 CPL Chintu Kumar V was selected for All India Trekking camp – 2023 which was held at Kolhapur Maharastra from 19  Nov  2023 to 26 Nov 2023.

SUO E Subash – TN21SDA635112 [BA Defence 3YR]

SUO E Subash was selected for Adventure course – 2023, which was held at Uttarakhand from 17 Nov to 30 Nov 2023.

L/CPL S. Vishali – TN22SWA635118 [ BA.Criminology]

L/CPL S.Vishali was selected for Basic Leadership camp at coimbatore & EBSB at Madurai 2023.

L/CPL M. Saranya – TN22SWA635115 [BA.Criminology]

 L/CPL M Saranya was selected for All India Trekking camp – 2023 which was held at Kolhapur Maharastra from 19  Nov  2023 to 26 Nov 2023.

Achievements Of 1(TN) BN NCC

  • CPL Sakshi Dutta, 2nd year B.A. Criminology and Police Administration attended The All India Thal Sainik Camp 2023 – 2024 in Delhi from 19th September 2023 to 30th September 2023. She attended 9 camps for 4 months to participate in All India Thal Sainik Camp. She was a part of map reading and tent pitching.
  • CPL. Sakshi Dutta secured 2nd place and won the silver medal in the tent pitching competition at National level. Also she secured 1st place in map reading competition at State level during the Inter-Group Competition.
  • CPL Kathir S, 2nd year B.A. Public Administration, was a part of the marching contingent of the Marina Republic Day Parade held at Marina Beach on 26th January 2024.
  • He also reached the RDC Inter Group Competition level held at Idayapatti, Madurai from 11th October 2023 to 20th October 2023.

 L/CPL E Vignesh was selected for EBSB at Madurai 2023.

L/CPL R.Lavanya – TN22SWA635113 [BA. Criminology]

L/CPL R Lavanya was selected for EBSB at Madurai 2024

CPL Kishan Singh

  • CPL Kishan Singh was selected for Basic Leadership Camp at KPR University, Coimbatore 2023.
  • He also attended the Advance Leadership Camp at Pagode, Kerala 2024.

CPL Rohit Kumar Rawat

  • CPL Rohit Kumar Rawat was selected for Basic Leadership Camp at KPR University, Coimbatore 2023.
  • He also attended the Advance Leadership Camp at Pagode, Kerala 2024.CPL SAKSHI DUTTA & CDT BALAKRISHNA RAO
  •  International Year of Millets programme was conducted on 2nd December, 2023.
  • In view of this event, cadets of 1 (TN) BN NCC, CPL Sakshi Dutta & CDT Balakrishna Rao recieved awards in various events at the unit level.

L/CPL Abhisekh Kushwaha

L/CPL Abhisekh Kushwaha has attended All India Thal Sainik Camp Directorate Training 1.

14th CADO Fiesta by Tndalu

14th CADO FIESTA was conducted by The Tamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University from 08th February to 10th February 2024. 30 colleges from all over Tamilnadu participated which included 1500 Cadets. Among this the cadets of A.M.Jain college won prizes in the following events:

  1. Overall hard combat banner.
  2. 3rd place in Contingent Drill.
  3. 3rd place in Guard of Honour 
  4. 2nd place in Best Cadet senior division.
  5. 2nd prize in Cane Drill senior division category.
  6. 2nd Prize in Tent pitching.
  7. 2nd place in group obstacles senior division.
  8. 3rd prize in TSC Cross country senior division category.
  9. 2nd Place in Kholna Jodna senior division category.
  10. 2nd Position in Troopers obstacles senior wing category.
  1. 1st and 2nd Position in Survivor senior division.
  2. 1st place in Wrap Up Senior wing category.
  3. 2nd place in flag Area 
  4. 1st place in Solo Instrument 
  5. Winner of Thalir Best event 

  6. 1st and 2nd Position in General Cross Country senior division
  7. 3rd place TSC obstacles senior division.

3rd Cado Guru Competition

3rd Cado Guru Competition was conducted by Guru Nanak College on 2nd and 3rd March 2024. 20 colleges from Chennai participated which included approximately 700 cadets. Among this cadets of A.M.Jain College won the following prizes:

1. Overall Yodha Banner i.e Hard Combat Rolling Trophy winner.
2. 3rd Position in Contingent Drill.

1st Place in Tent Pitching.
4. 2nd place in Cross country senior wing category
5. 1st Place in Kholna Jodna senior division
