Cadets Recruitment
The recruitment of new cadets was done in the months of July and August. A total of 34 cadets were recruited.
Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August. The event showcased the commitment of NCC cadets to fostering a sense of national pride and social responsibility, contributing to the overall development and well-being of the students and the college.
International Yoga Day
Through NCC Units of our College, we celebrated International Yoga Day to increase public awareness of the various advantages of yoga practice.
Khadi Mahotsav
On 26th October 2023, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at A.M. Jain College organized a Khadi Mahotsav, a cultural and awareness event celebrating the rich heritage and significance of Khadi.
Puneet Sagar Abhiyan
On 7th October 2023, NCC cadets from A.M. Jain College 1 TN BTY NCC actively participated in the “Puneet Sagar Abhiyan,” an environmental initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness and conservation of water bodies.
Swachhbharat
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India
DDG Visit
Deputy Director General of NCC, Commodore Atul Kumar Rastogi visited our college on 1st December 2023 to provide our cadets with knowledge on NCC and life in Armed Forces.
The DDG’s visit included an engaging and insightful interaction with our NCC cadets, providing them with valuable guidance and motivation.
The DDG’s visit also served as a platform for recognizing the achievements of our NCC cadets and encouraging them to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
International year of Millets
The cadets of 1 Tamil Nadu Battalion NCC actively participated in the International Year of Millets programme on 2nd December 2023, promoting the cultivation and consumption of millets for their nutritional and environmental benefits.
B Certificate Examination
NCC ‘B’ certificate exam was conducted on 23rd & 24th March at Madras Medical College.
30 2nd Year cadets from our college attended the practical and written examinations.

CPL Chintu Kumar V was selected for All India Trekking camp – 2023 which was held at Kolhapur Maharastra from 19 Nov 2023 to 26 Nov 2023.
SUO E Subash – TN21SDA635112 [BA Defence 3YR]
SUO E Subash was selected for Adventure course – 2023, which was held at Uttarakhand from 17 Nov to 30 Nov 2023.
L/CPL S. Vishali – TN22SWA635118 [ BA.Criminology]
L/CPL S.Vishali was selected for Basic Leadership camp at coimbatore & EBSB at Madurai 2023.
L/CPL M. Saranya – TN22SWA635115 [BA.Criminology]
L/CPL M Saranya was selected for All India Trekking camp – 2023 which was held at Kolhapur Maharastra from 19 Nov 2023 to 26 Nov 2023.
Achievements Of 1(TN) BN NCC
CPL Sakshi Dutta, 2nd year B.A. Criminology and Police Administration attended The All India Thal Sainik Camp 2023 – 2024 in Delhi from 19th September 2023 to 30th September 2023. She attended 9 camps for 4 months to participate in All India Thal Sainik Camp. She was a part of map reading and tent pitching.
CPL. Sakshi Dutta secured 2nd place and won the silver medal in the tent pitching competition at National level. Also she secured 1st place in map reading competition at State level during the Inter-Group Competition.
CPL Kathir S, 2nd year B.A. Public Administration, was a part of the marching contingent of the Marina Republic Day Parade held at Marina Beach on 26th January 2024.
He also reached the RDC Inter Group Competition level held at Idayapatti, Madurai from 11th October 2023 to 20th October 2023.

CPL Kishan Singh was selected for Basic Leadership Camp at KPR University, Coimbatore 2023.
He also attended the Advance Leadership Camp at Pagode, Kerala 2024.

L/CPL Abhisekh Kushwaha has attended All India Thal Sainik Camp Directorate Training 1.
14th CADO Fiesta by Tndalu
14th CADO FIESTA was conducted by The Tamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University from 08th February to 10th February 2024. 30 colleges from all over Tamilnadu participated which included 1500 Cadets. Among this the cadets of A.M.Jain college won prizes in the following events:

2nd place in Best Cadet senior division.
2nd prize in Cane Drill senior division category.
2nd Prize in Tent pitching.

3rd Cado Guru Competition
3rd Cado Guru Competition was conducted by Guru Nanak College on 2nd and 3rd March 2024. 20 colleges from Chennai participated which included approximately 700 cadets. Among this cadets of A.M.Jain College won the following prizes:
1. Overall Yodha Banner i.e Hard Combat Rolling Trophy winner. 2. 3rd Position in Contingent Drill. 3. 1st Place in Tent Pitching. 4. 2nd place in Cross country senior wing category 5. 1st Place in Kholna Jodna senior division 6. 2nd prize in survivor senior division and 1st place in survivor senior wing
