The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit at Agurchand Manmull Jain College is a vibrant platform that embodies the spirit of humanitarian service. It goes beyond being a mere symbol, functioning as an active force fueled by compassion and a dedication to helping those in need. The YRC at the college focuses on empowering humanity, promoting health, and creating meaningful impact in people’s lives. Through various initiatives and activities, members of the YRC work towards building a healthier, more empathetic, and interconnected society. Each service project undertaken by the unit represents a concrete step towards realizing this vision of a more
compassionate world.

Orientation Program

Youth Red Cross organized an orientation programme on 16th October 2023 through which the participants learned about the importance of volunteering, first aid, and community engagement.

Wellness Oasis Rivalry

Youth Red Cross organized a Wellness Oasis Rivalry on 7th February 2024 under the theme of Motivating and Encouraging the Importance of Health.

E-Slogan Rivalry

Youth Red Cross of our college organized an E-Slogan Rivalry under the theme of “Motivating and Encouraging the Importance of Health” on 7th February 2024.

Blood Donation Camp

YRC and RRC of Agurchand Manmull Jain College conducted Blood Donation campaign on 01/03/2023 in collaboration with Adyar Cancer Institute and Chennai Blood Bank to support local healthcare needs and promote the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Cancer Premonition Propaganda

Youth Red cross of Agurchand Manmull Jain College organized a ‘Cancer Premonition Propaganda, on 26th February 2024 to create awareness about the causes of cancer and how to mitigate if diagnosed of cancer

E-Poster Rivalry

Youth are the strong pillar of India, to make them even more stronger AMJC YRC planned to organise a E- Poster Competition under the theme “Motivating & Encouraging the importance of health”
