"ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT"

Power Seminar Titled "Entrepreneurship Development" was organized by Training & Placement Cell in collaboration with ICT Academy on 15.12.2017 (Friday)

Chief Guest : Mr. Dharaneetharan.G.D. of Social Eagle.

                    Mr. Adithya Raju of kolapasi were the seminar speakers

Events was organized by Training and Placement cell for the students with passion towards entrepreneurship. Seminar was inspirational to the SEED student members of the college, who had already started with their entrepreneurial ventures. Students from all departments were benefited from the seminar.  

 

     

 

    

 

 

TCS Affirmative action Training program

  TCS-BPS Affirmative Action 100hrs Training Program on English Communication and Basic Corporate Etiquette Introductory session was conducted by Mr. Srinath Narayanan Mani, Vice President, TCS Affirmative Action on 18.10.2016 for Shift – I and on 20.10.2016 for Shift – II students.

  TCS Affirmative action classes were conducted by three trainers from TCS, Mr. Selvin, Ms. Uma Krishnamoorthy and Ms. Subhashini Anand. Totally, 249 students from shift – I and Shift –II were trained for a period from October 2016 to January 2017.

MoU with G.S. Skills Gen Solutions

  A MoU was signed to enhance the employability of the students on 09.11.2016 with G.S. Skills Gen Solutions.

          1.  As part of Barclays CSR program by Laurus Edutech entitled, “Global Youth Employability Initiative”, G.S. Skills Gen Solutions offered 100 hours free training program in accordance with NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) validated curriculum.

        2.  After the successful completion of training program in effective communication skills and art of facing interview, students are certified and assisted for placements.

        3.  A job fair will conducted in the month of April 2017.

          4.  Training classes were conducted from 30.01.2017 to 11.02.2017 for more than 900 students inclusive of Shift – I and Shift – II.

Global education Fair

 A Global Education Fair pre-event was conducted on 10.01.2017, in our college campus in collaboration with University student advisory bureau and Education Matters for the benefit of students planning to study abroad.

 Dr. Sakthivel, Director, University student advisory bureau inaugurated the Education Fair pre-event and addressed the students.
