Department of Computer Science

The Department of B. A. Public Administration was started in the academic year, 2018 to prepare professionals for careers in both Central and State Civil Services such as IAS, IPS, IFS, TNPSC (Group I, Group II ) with more than 54 exams in Central Civil Services conducted by UPSC and 8 exams in State Civil Services conducted by TNPSC. Public Administration is the most opted paper in Civil Service Mains Examination. It also promotes an added advantage after clearing Civil Services (IAS) during their Training Period in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Public Administration is an interdisciplinary area of study that equips students to prepare for other Competitive Exams as this syllabus covers nearly 80% of Government Exams., to name a few, Current Affairs, Indian Administration, Police Administration, Local Government, Indian Polity, Development Administration, Constitutional Development, E – Governance, etc.

➢ To promote young Bureaucrats in Indian Administration for establishing a welfare state and Sustainable Development.

➢ To provide value added capacity building for Public Personnel and Private Sector Administrators.

➢ It also encourages the highest standards of Professional Practice and Service to the Public by enhancing the understanding of Public Sector and advocating the highest values and ideals of Public Service.

Mission

➢ Our Undergraduate Program provides a foundation for learning Competitive Exams such as UPSC, TNPSC, SSC, RRB, LIC, OTA and other Bank Exams.

➢ Our course promotes excellent Leadership and Ethical Values in both Public and Private Sectors.

➢ Our faculty and students are expected to be competent and ethical leaders committed to the nation and its people.

➢ Our department promotes an environment characterized by collaborative learning, guided by the core values of our College.
